Thermal Energy

The energy of the moving particles in an object
Real World Example
Imagine trying to get a group of young children to settle down in a classroom after recess. This chaotic scene is akin to the concept of thermal energy, where the energy is due to the movement of particles within an object. Just as the children are full of energy, running around and interacting with one another, the particles in an object move and collide, contributing to the object's thermal energy. The more active the children or particles are, the more energy is present, just like how a warmer object has more thermal energy due to the increased motion of its particles.
